Does Filezilla work with Dropbox

This is driving me nuts trying to set up the 2.0 server. Im trying to use Filezilla to ftp my files to work with Dropbox and have had no success. Does anyone know if there is a way for this to work? Anthony

Are you trying to set up BT 2.0 server ON DropBox itself? Or, are you storing the BT Server files on DropBox (which I do as well), and are trying to FTP them to your server using Filezilla (I use WinSCP, and am ale to do so with no issues)? If you're trying to run BT Server off of DropBox, it won't work. It needs to be a real hosting account (but I suspect this isn't what you are trying to do anyway). Mark

GoNorthWest is right, you can't setup the BT server on Dropbox. You need to have a hosting account with someone like 1and1 or Hostgator. Make sure you choose a linux package. M.

Hi RadDoc You need to copy all your files (bt 2.0) to your server via an FTP program like filezilla. Make a note of your db settings like host, db name, db user id and db password. You need to add this info to the config file before you ftp the files into the server. After copying the files you will be able to run the installation. M.

Mark, when you say dropbox, do you mean dropbox.com?

Hi CBreeze, Yep...DropBox = DropBox.com. It's an awesome free service, and it's where I store all my Buzztouch projects. That way I can access them from anywhere in the world. Use this link to sign up and help me get some extra free space : http://db.tt/TCxVvk8 Mark
