Packaging Android 1.4 for Playbook (free playbook)

I'm trying to package these apps for the blackberry app world. If you put your android app in their app world by feb 13 you get a free playbook. http://us.blackberry.com/developers/tablet/playbook_offer2012.jsp I was able to use there packager to make a bar file, but I am having trouble making/finding the cod file for the 2.0 os. Anyone had any luck with this? I changed the icon within the lib to the correct size. Thanks.

Have you read the other BlackBerry post, especially the part that not all apps submitted will qualify you for a free playbook. Only useful apps. Fred

Yeah. I'm not worried. My app is useful. I have been wanting to put it on that platform for a while. This incentive just gave me a good nudge.

Never done a android app but have one ideal for BlackBerry market, this would be a great incentive. I have completed app for iOS would like to use this as the push to get experience on android market, is it feasible for somone who has never used eclipse and little experience of android to pack existing app and get it to blackberry in 5 days?

Hello Fred, your on. The first point of call is going to be your MySkylla's Blog on all things eclipse. I would be happy to collabrate at any stage but I think it will be more like android rookie out with Clint Eastwood on this one. Great to know your there on the forum, its major backup.

Fred I am starting my first 3 hours on this tonight, then tommorrow I have 4 hours free on it so anyway I can help I will. Fo you have to resize app from phone to 7 tablet. This challange is getting more scary than that apollo mission where tom hanks had to change the scrubbers. Ps In UK scrubbers is something much different fron CO2 filters Stefan - with 3 we will become the musketters

Ok. I am able to load the blackberry app on the sim. It even gets accepted through the online runtime converter. No cod file made though. I think part of the problem is that bt 1.4 uses API 1.6. The blackberry 2.0 software requires 2.3.3. I get an error after the blackberry signature if I use 2.3.3. Maybe that is why its not putting out a cod file? Not sure. Thoughts.
