I can see it in the project but when I run the project it is as if it was not saved. Getting missing plugin notification and images not showing in tabs. In previous versions of Xcode we could drag the Plugin Folder into the project but this is not working in Xcode9. I added the images and plugin folder by highlighting the project in Xcode. Then click on Files > Add files to (project name). Then add. This solved the problem. The app works fine even with the purple warning. Comments Downloaded a second project and had the same problem.
