@Susan @ buzztouch, Thanks for arranging all this! I know I can't make it to most meetings, so having the recording helps me stay connected!

ibeacons, oooooooooooooo, can't wait, planning on integrating geomoby in our next app. Lots of potential with that. I just got delivery of my ibeacons from http://estimote.com/ , can't wait to test them out !! Think it might be worth getting up at 4am for this one :) KB

In the Webinar/Events schedule you have it down for Tuesday, March 25. That has gone already. In comments above, it looks like tonight, Wednesday. Oh No! Either I have missed it, or I'll be missing it... (I am already scheduled to give a presentation myself this evening). So, how do we get the recordings and how soon? I am really very interested in this iBeacon stuff. Mine are on the way - http://www.radiusnetworks.com/radbeacon/ Thanks, Chris

@kaybee I really like the ready made solutions some firms are offering (GeoMoby etc), but they all seem to get pretty pricy, pretty quickly if your app is successful. OK in some scenarios though. I will be interested to see what BuzzTouch and the upcoming beacon plugin has to offer though. We might get a lot of what we need built in...

That would be cool, I suppose its the same thing can be said about TAX. People always complain that if they earn more the pay more tax, HELLO, I am quote happy to pay more tax if that means I am actually earning more. So in other words, if we structure our pricing correctly to our clients, then we will never be worse off. I also believe whoever offers the solution needs to put together a scaled pricing structure to cover costs of servers and maintenance etc for when it does get busy. It won't help anyone if BT doesn't charge and then in a year they are in trouble trying to maintain servers etc on a shoe string budget, the whole business model will be questioned and determined if it is a viable solution at all. David might one day think well the reward is not worth the effort and pack it in, not that he will, but you never know. Sorry got a bit carried away there. Basically you get what you pay for.

@Kaybee. Totally agree you get what you pay for, and you should pay for what you get. But, we are probably talking here about two different use cases for iBeacons. GeoMoby (and others) are offering full backend service, analytics, easy integration, updating and deployment. All good stuff that you (or rather your client) should be prepared to pay for. Personalised push promotions/adverts and notifications can come out of this and businesses who want that can budget accordingly. I (and I suspect many others) would be looking at a simpler, but no less valid scenario... Proximity to certain beacons unlocks/opens certain screens. This functionality could be baked into the app. No extras needed. This would open up a whole host of opportunities. For the guiding/interpretive apps that I am most interested in this would be enough. In a lot of cases too, wi-fi/internet connectivity is an issue, so a full in-app solution would be a positive benefit. I think this would be easily doable in a BT plugin. Hope you see where I am coming from now...

I've got a set of Stick N Finds, but got nowhere with it. Now I just keep it in my wallet to make sure I don't loose it.

I corrected the date. Sorry about that. The meeting starts in 4 hours. Not to confuse things further, but the meeting is on Thursday for Smug and Kaybee. :) I gave up on multiple time zones, and plan to post only the US Pacific time zone (Corporate office of Buzztouch) and the UTC time zone. As we all move towards globalization, it makes sense for us all to start thinking in terms of a universal time.

Uelsimon, I can add you to the developer email list. Just send me an email or PM. We always meet the same time on Wednesdays, usually every other week.
