Quick question, can the software recognize phone numbers within a JPEG file? Thanks!!

Nope! You will need to run the image through Optical Character Recognition software to extract that information. If you describe your problem, perhaps we can suggest another way to solve it. -- Niraj

Alan-Thank you very much. Niraj-Thanks for your response. It's not a problem, I just had some images to utilize that is all. Thank you so much!

For example, here is a possible scenario: You have a bunch of images with phone numbers embedded in them. You also know where the phone number is located on each image by its x,y coordinates and its height-width box. For each image, you already know the phone numbers to be called. Then the problem can be solved very easily by modifying the XIB plugin or by a new plugin. Both plugins would draw an invisible button over the area of the phone number. The image would be the background layer of the screen. -- Niraj

Another solution is for a tap anywhere on the image to result in a phone call. That is not a great solution because Users have been taught to tap in specific areas and then that region will turn slightly darker to indicate the tap has been recognized. -- Niraj
