Ready to give up

Fourth rejection. Same issue. I just don't know what to do to fix this. Other posts have suggested replacing the BT_config file, which I've done, three times. Am I doing it wrong? Do I download the source code again? Do I just add the file into Xcode?? Yes...I've downloaded the app to a brand new iPad...no issues! Ready to chuck it all in. Apple message: We found that your app exhibited one or more bugs, when reviewed on the iPad, running iOS 6.1.3, on both Wi-Fi and cellular networks, which is not in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines. Specifically, the app launches to a blank screen.

Ahhh simple fix, erase all of the code in the Xcode bt_config file, go to the apps control panel and publish changes then go to json and copy the live mode data and paste it into the blank bt_config file

@App Master - same for Android too. It's become part of my routine!

Try responding to the reviewer. Tell them you can not duplicate the issue and you have tested on multiple devices. Ask if they can give you any more detail. I did this once and instead of a reply the next day the app was live in the store? Worth a shot. I have also had people say that if you delete the app from itunes connect then start over like you are submitting a different app it can go through without issue. I know it can be frustrating, hang in there.

I had the same issue recently .. I was coping the live mode data and reviewing it I found it wasn't the updated data .. I copied the design data and it was the updated data.. So what worked as stated above . I copied the design data .. Went to Xcode and highlighted the config. Made sure all text was gone .. Pasted the design data and just changed design to live in the text. Then I built and ran to make sure.. I recently updated a app and when it was approved I updated through App Store and found that no changes were made.. Went through my updated config and found I copied live data and it wasn't there but was in design data.. Jim

NOOOOOOOO! Don't give up! We're here for you! Here's a video I did that shows how to sync up your configuration files: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sp2vL1XCPC0 Make sure you've hit the Publish button, and you're using the "Live" version of your config file for sending to Apple. Hang in there..we'll get you published! Mark

Please don't give up. GoNorthWest has covered most of the bases needed in his line of tutorials, and this kind of behaviour is no exception. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I have an Apple logo on my dartboard, and you'd be amazed at how good my aim has become of late. Keep at it! Cheers! -- Smug

Thanks for the words of encouragement folks. Frustrations have run high as this is my first foray into this territory. I'm no stranger to code, CSS....give me a website to build! But this...sheesh. Forging on....I'll try again.

yeah everyone's right don't give up! i think messing helps you create an awesome app and learn buzztouch faster. my first app was rejected 4 times before i finally got it right and buzztouch started to click in my mind. i've just updated that first app and my goodness it was so unorganized and useless images.. i just threw everything anywhere :) keep it you'll be happy you did!

Don't give up. Just try to implement the advice given here and try to treat it as an experiment: write down what you changed, and later, what was the effect. They say it took Edison 10,000 trials to "discover" the light bulb. Only that he didn't give up. No way. So, you just don't give up, but change, change, change... until it works.

Bummer. Have you run this on your own device, from Xcode? That would be a great test. If you have previously, make sure that you've removed any versions from your device, and run again. Your config file is in Live mode, correct? And the one you have in Xcode is a copy of the one on the BT servers? You have hit the Publish button, and it's green, correct? Mark
