Hi i have a problem with BTv3 the application cant open the locally saved files .. i have a Html Doc screen where i place the file that want to dipslay (html page) The file is stored in assetes/BT_Docs/ in the BTv2 i was placing in the Html_doc screen properties where it says ''Document Location - File Name in Project'' the name of the file i was intend to place in BT_Docs and was displayed in my application without a problem.. in BTv3 is the same? or have to place in ''Document Location - File Name in Project '' an other root? /BT_Docs/My_html_page.doc (Android application)

I don't have experience with Android. I have seen the Android experts give this advice on filenames: "use only lowercase alphanumeric characters". But since it used to work for you on BT v2, the file is in the wrong location. Hopefully, somebody else can answer your question. -- Niraj

Notice that if i save the same application in BTv2 it works fine and opens the html_Doc screen without problem.. Any solution ?? As i want to move in BTv3 for the map option.. that BTv2 cant support with Google Api key v2

Hi @Casior, First thing that jumps out at me is name and convert all images for Android to png. Eclipse doesn't like any other format for some reason. First question, this might seem silly, but did you include the html plugin in your control panel when you downloaded the bt package? LA

Hi My pictures are all in png the name of the files are all lowercase alphanumeric characters i will check about the html plugin but i think that from the moment that i have html docs as screen that the BT does it automatically but i will download again the project to check it for sure

ok i check it... it was marked... but included and all the others just in case.. I Have the same problem :( it opens only custom html/text screen loads normaly html docs and map are not :(

If you are using the emulator, you might need an HTML viewer or some sort to open that particular file. It looks like it does not know how to open it. You using HTML with a map on it? LA

Hi no i dont use the emulator... just the phone. and from eclipse and as a normal .apk (installation file for android) tha html doc dont have any map inside.. they are simple html files with text and pictures...

Ok we can try 2 things here. Don't export has an apk so just use your device as an emulator. What HTML page you trying to use? You can email to me on here if you don't want to post in the forums. Also we can do a team viewer session and post back here the solution. LA

it is not an external web link (html) it is a html file that i save localy in BT_Docs and i place the name in the Htmls doc screen properties.. if you like i can send you the file with send space but as i file has nothing special.. the BTv2 always opened it

May want to load up JoinMe, TeamViewer or ScreenHero in advance so that LA can help you by watching your computer screen. The first two also have iPad apps for watching someone's screen.

@Caslor did you ever get this solved? I recently tried BT 3.0 (and addded the Google Play services library etc.) and have nothing but headaches... when the app worked fine in 2.0. No solution for this as i saw this pluging works as it should work in V3. for some reason in V2 worked like it was but shouldnt.. even if that was what we needed... the only solution is to have the Html pro pluging i work with this one now in V3
