I am building an app that has hundreds of pages, is there a limit?

I am building an app that has hundreds of pages, is there a limit? I think i could have about 400-500 pages. i have heard that if it resembles a book it will get rejected, does anyone know about this? thanks

Hey, no page limits. Well if its to similar to a book, not necesarly related to the page number, but the app itself, that might happen. If you have something more in there, it should be ok. Cheers. Miguel

There is some truth to the rejection theory though. If Apple thinks its just an ebook, they're likely to say it belongs in iBooks. Make sure you have some other functionality in there.

Surprising how quickly they can grow! I thought my first app might have maybe 25 pages... Soon grew to 100+

If you're thinking of an e-book for iOS, I would recommend using the iBooks platform. To write iBooks, there is an Apple-made program from the Mac App Store called 'iBooks Author'. Other ebook companies will have different programs too. However, if you want to chuck in a few extra features (for example, a map of the setting of a novel) then it you'll be fine. If you think that it is visually appealing to your audience, your apps will always be accepted.

thankyou all for your responses, it has helped. i know i want it to be an app and not an ibook, so i will make sure i have app features added where possible. i just wanted to make sure i was on the right track as i would have hated to put this time into the app and not get accepted. thanks
