I am currently using the adobe reader to look at the files. What are the best practices and format for large files on a mobile device. Currently there is a noticeable lag going from page to page in the books I have. A lot of them are very busy with drawings and other graphics. Would another format lend itself more to what I am trying to accomplish? Your comments appreciated. You could then have a table of contents screen that links to the individual chapters, but also allows navigation back to the main menu. PDFs are nice, but sometimes I find them hard to navigate, and, for Android, they also require an external PDF viewer. HTML files can be crafted using some good CSS to present natively and nicely on most devices. But if you host with dropbox, you're bound to find extremely slow speeds. I will look into the css suggestion for now. Then create a Menu that lists all those chapters. You can stitch together all the chapters by placing a Next button in the upper-right corner.
