Keynote was good but the bandwidth was terrible! iPhone 6 Plus and Watch with black strap for me!

Oh, forgot to ask: Did they mention how the new screen sizes will handle old apps? A zoom like on the iPad? Does anyone know yet what the new screen dimensions we will have to accommodate? William

$349 starter price. Its not known for the other 2 models. I'm assuming 18carat gold version is probably in the grand range.

I very rarely type 320 longtime admirer of maths and percentages, auto layout I'm getting there. I feel sorry for developers that insist on using if screen is bigger than 480 then load this xib etc, there will be about 6 xibs in every plugin package lol

What's everyone conplaining about the streaming? I had full 1080p streaming to my Apple TV with no fault... not one hickup. But in true honesty, I don't like the direction Apple is going. In my opinion, the new iPhone looks like an iPod touch. I still think the iPhone 4S is their best looking phone - it looks slightly more symmetrical than the iPhone 4, but has a lovely glass back. Anyway, as I'm a developer, I'll add the 6 and 6+ to the rest of my collection and stick it in the draw. I still use my 4S, despite owning the rest.

You must have had a special stream as the rest of the world had a foreign woman talking over for the first half an hour, many multi coloured screens, random resets to the beginning. Including Apple TV which I felt like smashing up and apple.com. Ended up watching online on the macbook

OMG it was the worst stream event EVER. Thankfully It’s perfect if you try to watch on Apple TV right now. (so I’m finally seeing what I missed for the first 30 mins) sheesh. Glad to finally have my Apple Phablet (6+). I been pining for this since 2010. About bloody time. And now..that we know what is ‘coming’ I can start coding again. :) really liking the Fallon + Timberlake commercials. Watch…well I am not a big fan of tethered device. so does that mean I doesn’t do much without the phone nearby ? (I’mma have to give Samsung the 1st place for their Gear S in that case)

Lol-ing at you guys getting moist over a watch. Its not 2013. For "watch" read "another bit of useless twaddle they want you to part your hard earned cash for". Actually, last time I wore a watch was circa 1999 when I got my first phone. From an Old Cynic who thought the tablet would never catch on.

Tru Tru Kittsy. hopefully all this iOS8 and watches and stuff will lead to a reunion soon. as for watches… i think they’re finally becoming relevant again. people stopped wearing them because they were a single function device. now that they do multiple things…it may make sense again. but like I said before. this tethered life isn’t quite doing it for me. basically its a visual pedometer on your hand. I guess I just need to see how the experience works to know what I think about it. I think most folks forget about the tethering aspect..whcih makes it seem awesome. But the day I forget my phone behind…(which i guess is rare)…well one thing is sure.. the wallet may be the next item to need a revamping nw that the watch is looking to be back on its way up Aight Kittsy…. Watched last night on hotel WiFi with iPad. I was shocked they came out and summarily announced the new iPhone 6 duo without much of a preamble. Phil explained the old apps "will just work". Nick has me worried, if his Advanced Quiz plugin is broken on the new Simulators, then Cubbyholes may also be facing the same fate. Apple Watch ... dammit, it's easier to say iWatch! ... Me want. :-) Very impressive how the user experience has been re-thought for the Apple Watch. Nice they made it be compatible with iPhone 5 and later devices. The showcase building is huge! Just for one day? Love Apple's Live Blog, they taught the world once again on how to maintain control of one's own messaging. ApplePay might be the one to stay under the radar -- a hobby until they get all the partners lined up. Don't know how they got the few partnerships with Target and Hotel without any leaks. -- Niraj

Yeah that could be an issue for my ultimate screen creator. And by that I mean it almost definitely will be.

Guess I'll have to write my own scaling code like I did for the Android version. Blah.

Tested out the USC plugin on the larger screen sizes. Even though it positions things down to the pixel, Apple's new scaling technology works perfectly, scaling it up. So, everything looks and feels natural still. Very cool!
