Buzz touch Push Notifications .pem certificate file not recognized

I carefully followed the step by step instructions in “ arr-right.png iOS Push Notifications Certificate Setup” by David. In the terminal, I received the "MAC verified OK”, so the file was created correctly. However, my self hosted BT control panel is not recognizing the .pem file that was created. The control panel has a warning box that verifies the .pem file that I was attempting to upload. It states:" Invalid File Type. .pem files only. You tried to upload a file named harvestdm.pem" Is this a common problem, and what can I do? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I will try this, thank you. I've deleted and remade the files, checked the certificates, contacted Apple, talked to other tech guys, I will try this as well. Appreciate the help!

I replaced the code in the .php page, it seems to get past the file, but now I get the "Certificate passphrase required" warning - even though I have placed a password in there... I've tried 3 different browsers. I do not own a Windows computer as the above pasted thread suggests, but will try that next. That thread looks like it is 2 years old. This obvious bug in the coding should be fixed. I wonder how many other users are having issues?

Im having the same issue, got the .pem file, if i upload it on a windows using chrome instead, i get the file type error, even though it is a pem file, I changed the above code on the server ages ago, but reversed it to see, still getting same error, when the file is recognized as a pem, i get catchphrase error, been trying to fix this for over week, forgot to say when i do it from firefox, even though ive cleared the cache, it keeps putting the old passphrase in and asking for a passphrase, Any of you gurus have any suggestions, Im pulling my hair out. Thanks Sean
