Usage map for my app not working

This is not a huge problem (or even a medium-sized one) for you to address now... just wanted to make you guys aware the usage map wasn't working. The map itself loads fine and within a few seconds it says "done loading" but no pins ever land. Great new site!!! Josh

i am curious if this feature is going to work with the Blackberry version of my app i made. to get that app running I had to remove all instances of google aps in the source code, so this will be interesting to see if it works once you guys get this bug ironed out. i'm still getting a good chuckle out of how many requests we had for a Blackberry version of the app once we released it! My favorite 'does the iphone one run on my blackberry if i load an app to make it work?'

OK...back from lunch. Have updated and tested v1.4 and v1.5 apps. v2.0 apps do not have a Usage Map link yet. If you still have troubles, re-post. I think you'll be fine.

My first app was released yesterday to the apple app store. Checked the usage maps this morning and its blanks. But i know people have downloaded and used (most are friends)

@Bonzo: Are you sure the application is set to turn on the devices GPS? If the GPS isn't turned on - it won't report its location and it won't show on the map. See the apps Core Properties to control this behavior.

@ David. Are Usage Maps working for 2.0 yet? Also seems to affect dataURL in app. Not showing points from valid JSON dataURL

@Sevens: Hi. Yes, v2.0 usage maps should work. But..it take a few things to make this work. If you have... a) An app that connects to your control panel. b) An app that asks the user for their current location. c) An app that "refreshes" (contacts the buzztouch.com backend for content, not all do depending on the types of screens you have setup, along with their options). ...and you're still not seeing any usage...use the contact us form to send us an email with the name of the app in question, we'll get a look.
