How long for a ready for sale app to be available on App Store?

After an app gets approved and changes the status to Ready for sale, how long does it usually take for it to be available at the App Store?

Forgive me for the double post, it wasn't intentional.

in my experience around 6-12 hours - it will 100% be live in the app store within 24 hours. this has been the case for me many many times :) congratulations!

Ok, here's the status dates... July 21, 2011 17:30 Apple Ready for Sale July 21, 2011 17:28 Apple Processing for App Store July 21, 2011 14:36 Apple In Review July 17, 2011 20:35 User Waiting For Review July 17, 2011 19:31 Apple Missing Screenshot July 17, 2011 19:30 Apple Upload Received July 16, 2011 21:48 User Waiting For Upload July 16, 2011 21:41 User Prepare for Upload Today, July 23, my App is still not available. The review period was good, it took only 4 days for Apple to review and approve my app. But now every forum I go says it should be available within 6 to 24 hours from the 'Ready for Sale' status. I have set the release data to the same day I uploaded the binary (July 17) and left my app available to all App Stores. Is there anything I'm missing here? Thank you all for the replies.

Dumb question perhaps, but when you submitted your app they asked you when you wanted it to go live in the iTunes store. Most of us choose as soon as approved (or something to that effect) but if you chose a later date it won't show up until that date. If you don't remember you could go back into iTunes connect and check out the rights and pricing section for your app to see what date is chosen. Hope that helps?

Also, make sure you have all of your Apple contracts signed in the Contracts,Tax and Banking section of iTunes Connect. They may hold up publishing your app if you are not current on the contracts.

Tony, I am currently having the same issue. 3 of my applications were approved yesterday - and nothing in the app store - I am assuming they are just behind in work and to be patient. If anything, they should have our applications live by the end of today. I am sure they either are loaded with work or know about the problem already :) Take care, David.

@mutzy - Yeah I set it for the same day I sent the binary (July 17). @MGoBlue - The App is free, I still have to sign any contracts? (I will take a look at iTunes Connect). @David - I think you're right David. I just got an email (you should have received also) from Apple saying they have extended their App Stores to other markets (countries). This might be the cause of the delay. Thanks again everyone!

Yes I received that email too :) It could possibly be that now that you remind me of it. If the app is free there is no signing contracts required - i've never had to do that with the 20 apps I have live in the store. I will post here if mine go through - we just have to be a little patient with apple :) David.

I am having the same issue. Approved for sale yesterday morning and still waiting. They must be a little behind.
