iOS 7 Beta Problems

Hello all. I just installed iOS 7 on my test iPhone 4. The first problem that I have found is that my apps pages using the Word Doc plugin are blank. My pages using the HTML/text plugin are ok. The simple menu plugin is working ok except for the default top navigation bar color is now grey instead of blue. More to come......... Edit...on another app of mine, The Blog Pro, Tabbed Menu, BTM Search, BTA Design Menu, Launch Native App, App Rater and Call us Plugins are working ok

Interesting that the Word Doc plugin isn't working - it's just a webView loading the Word Document. What's your debug output show when you try to load that screen?

And the threads begin... lol! Didn't they talk about some type of document update? I snored a little around that part of the keynote. Doubt it has anything to do with it through. Glad to hear my search plugin works. Output would help yup. David https://buzztouchmods.com

they did change safari could have something to do with it? I just moved to iOS7 and can't say I like the look. Nice they added the quick way to get to wifi ect.. but the icons are "not a nice word but ugly"

First thing I thought when I saw the screen shots of iOS 7 was...Android. Looks almost identical. Step backwards if you ask me. Anyway...if you can post the debug console output for that screen, it would be helpful. I'm sure David @ buzztouch will eventually look into what needs to be done to accommodate iOS 7. But it'll be low on the list ahead of other stuff for a bit. Mark

In io7 tabs and a few other things have changes colors. For example you location and push prints are now on white backgrounds with grey/blue text. The tab bar is light grey with dark grey text. in a word UUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGLLLLYYYY! P.s. Xcode 5 is worth checking out.

Sorry folks. It got late and I went to bed. I loaded my app directly from the App Store as a customer would just to see what would happen. This was my first app from a while back so I created over 200 food menus that are actually part of the app. (Not using a web link). I used the Word Doc plugin then and I am slowly converting them to HTML/text plugin. When I get home from work tonight, I will load it up with Xcode and start debugging. Dave

My BT 1.5 app "Pets 411" works well on iOS 7b1, HOWEVER; Socialize bar does not. If user tries to share from the socialize bar, the app freezes. mail to plugin, rss feed, podcasts, photo gallery, html page, send with sms, etc. all seem to work. UIBarbutton colors are fine, but navBar colors are all default.

ok. had to load an extra file (automatic through xcode 4.6.2) to load the app onto ios 7. Using xcode 4.6.2 all is good except the color of the top nav bar. The nav bar is grey instead of the blue that I have selected. In the debug session it calls for the blue BT_viewUtilities: setting nav-bar background for "Home" color: #0000FF (blue) I'm not seeing any errors or calls for a different color. I'm thinking that this is just a bug in the ios 7 beta FYI- i loaded up xcode 5 and then launched my app onto the phone and simulator. I get the home screen but the simple menu selection lines are no longer clear (they're white so you cant see the background image), the "more info" indicators on the right of each selection line are now a circle with a i in it and then the app crashes when any button is pushed. I think its because of the new beta version of xcode is unfinished.

I'm having an issue with a self hosted app that uses the log-in plug in attached to the first screen, just never loading- it now crashes 2 seconds after launch in ios 7. Another self hosted app is fine- but it has no log in plug in in it.

Updated all plugins, refreshed-launched the app with the log-in screen- still crashing in iOS 7.

The iOS 7 beta 2 release fixed all the apps that were crashing (not just BT self-hosted) with log-in screens-the native camera app now causes my 4s to randomly reboot now tho.
