Same thing has happened to me every time I have tried. Perhaps more testing was in order before launch?

I've noticed that while the plugin folder is copied to your Xcode project the plugins themselves are not. You'll have to manually copy them into the project. Expect grief, though, as many plugins will not work with BTv4.0 out of the box. At least not yet.

Hey folks... BT_Plugins folder in your download is EMPTY on purpose. It's always been this way. The BT_Screens folder, included in your downloads, contains all the build in BT screen types. This means the work flow is just like before, drag your plugins into the BT_Plugins folder. The exception now is that the BT built in screens (plugins I created forever ago) are automatically included. If this isn't the case, or you're having other funky-ness, let us know :-)

Dave, FYI, bt_screen_pdfDoc came down in the plugins folder even though it's now included in the screens folder. Tim

No need to click to include davids plugins, you will get them anyhow.

I think what would help here is to make this clearer to the user. I perceive we need some way of more clearly differentiating David's plugins (that are core and strictly speaking no longer called plugins) from 3rd party plugins. I just built an IOS BT 4 test app. When I add a screen, David's plugins are in the same list alongside all the others. No way of telling whose is whose at this point. A simple thing, they could be in a subheading marked Core or something similar, but they aren't. When I came to package & download the project, I was advised 10 plugins are required, 70 are optional. At this point, David's plugins are being counted. I think they shouldn't be. Then, when you open the downloaded package, look in the BT_Plugins folder you see that only the non David plugins are there. In my case 5, not 10. Not everyone will understand why. For those of us that have been around the BuzzTouch block once or twice, we work it out. But for the new starters, I worry that this kind of thing gets added to the list of reasons to give up! Just my 4 penneth, Alan

I am experimenting with building a BT 4 test app (called testapp) for IOS (not self hosted). I logged my findings so far here : https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=FB78BB44082E633FC8AC7F8&currentPage=1 It may help

Do you have to move the plug in your need from screens to plug in or is there a YouTube video that can walk us thought the new 4.0

If you use 'core' plugins, they are in the project build that you downloaded, you do not need to do anything. If you are using 3rd party plugins (earlier in this thread you confirmed you are not) you need to drag them in separately. But at this stage, many 3rd party plugins are not BT 4 compatible need tweaking to work.

@yourtownapps this fixed my white screen issues a) Visit your control panel. b) Set the Home Screen in the Layout options. c) Save.
