Stealth Launch on iPad Mini Retina

Did anyone else grab an iPad Mini Retina during the stealth launch? For some reason Apple kept the launch a secret, and it just appeared available to order on their site yesterday, with no media announcements, probably to trickle in some orders to help with the expected supply shortages for the xmas season). I ordered mine, tracking number says it will be here Tuesday! 32gb in silver/white. YAY!

Oh, and just for the re-assurance, I haven't ordered it, although I'd love to. It might be something on my Christmas wish-list, or maybe tickets to Las Vegas... who knows.

I couldn't resist... believe it or not, I've never had an iPad. Had the iPhone since 2008, but never thought I'd want the bulkiness of a larger screen. Then when the mini came out, I was on the fence about it... now that the mini got retina, it was enough for me to pull the trigger. I don't use my iOS for reading or anything like that, so still wondering if I'll feel the need for the larger screen as opposed to my iPhone, but I guess we'll find out on Tuesday! At least my Hay Day game and Clash of Clans will be bigger, hehe

Yeah... but it'll still be smaller than the original iPad! I quite like the mini, but I'm always going to be a big iPad person. It seems iPads are getting smaller, while iPhones are getting bigger!

Yeah, it's probably just because my primary laptop is an 11" macbook air... so more or less a full size ipad with a built in keyboard, lol. When I want portability, I go with my iphone... when I do normal stuff, I use the 11" Macbook Air. Not sure where the ipad mini will fit in, but we'll find out
