The Alert Menu plugin shows a dialog box with a title, message and up to 5 actionable and configurable buttons. The dialog appears on top of whatever screen launches it. This plugin was originally created by Jake Chasan for iOS, and has now been updated for Buzztouch 4.0. If you previously purchased the plugin, the update is available to you free of charge. A couple of important updates regarding this plugin: 1) Android support! The plugin now works in Buzztouch Android projects. 2) Better UX -- In the previous version of the plugin, the screen would briefly launch a new screen then dismiss it to give the appearance of showing the dialog on top of the originating screen. This was due to a limitation of Buzztouch projects at the time but made for a poor user experience. This is no longer the case - launching the plugin will instantly display the dialog. To make this work, I added the ability for plugins to embrace a new feature - executing code without launching a screen. For anyone who has worked with Buzztouch projects for a while or who has ever created a plugin, you probably recognize the potential this feature creates. New plugins can now perform background services, server communications, and run interesting algorithms without leaving the screen the user is on. As the gears in your head start to churn, post what new plugins and features you'd like to see come to Buzztouch in the future.
