Button Labels and Colors

Well, I seem to have eliminated JSON and other compiling errors and my old app loads and actually runs on the simulator and a device. However, I use a menu with buttons a lot, and even though I've told BT to have the labels in the center of the button and have the buttons a certain color and the labels black, All I get is the labels underneath the buttons (truncated if they're too long though that never happened before) and everything is colored a dull grey, the button and the labels. Is this related to the other problems I've been reading about with plug ins or am I still missing something, having been out of the BT game for over a year? The app was compiled in BT V4. Thanks.

Hi Stevek, I think you are seeing the BT4.0 problem I reported here: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=F1C87527525F126A545590E&currentPage=2 I am assuming it is a core problem until somebody tells us otherwise. My theory is the plugin is using its defaults and not picking up on control panel settings for setting certain colours, related maybe to a method called BT_color getColorFromHexString?

There are more reports about these issues here: https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=D99C3EA53545E7713D2413B I think if you were to modify the plugin in xCode you should be able to set the basic defaults, which may help. For example, the dull grey is probably something to do with the background colour and opacity for an item 'cell'. I updated my menu plugins and put them back in the market today, hoping that when the iOS core is next updated (4.02?) some or all of these issues will sort themselves out.

What I decided to do is totally redo the app, all 200 screens and recompile with BT4.0 That seems to work!

@Stevek, When you say redo the app including 200 screens, what exactly did you do?

I created a new app from scratch, the same one (slightly different name) with the same exact menus and screens,. Took about 2 hours to retype everything in, using the old app's control panel open on my iPad as a guide as I typed on my Mac. Please don't tell me now that there was an easier way.
