Techniques on great screenshots for savvy App Store users

It is important to explain your App's value and capabilities to prospective users. Simply taking screenshots of the App is not good enough in this mobile-savvy world. Instead, design a layout and annotate the App's screenshots. Read this helpful article on how to design screenshots for any type of App Store. Here is a quote from that article: "An app with a fantastic interface design will definitely increase sales. However, if all you publish are plain screenshots sans description of features and benefits – you’re missing a HUGE selling opportunity." http://www.designboost.net/how-to-design-iphone-screenshots-that-sell/ -- Niraj

Nice article. I read another one recently where it highlighted designers who used the 5 allowed screen shots as a "collage". There is a a lot of room for creativity there besides a standard screen shot. It is one of the main advertisements for your app.
