Hello everyone, I've had a ton of downloads of my free iOS apps recently. My apps are very niche category so I normally only have 8-10 downloads per day for 1 app and 0-1 per day for my other free app (its a local golf course). This past week, I've had over 100 downloads per day each. Very strange. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Are there bots out there just downloading apps? Is it Apple doing something? Thanks Dave

Not sure. Happens to me every year about this time. I figured I must have made some kind of list. 2-10 downloads daily for most of the year, then suddenly hundreds per day for about a week... If anyone has a more solid reason, I'm open for suggestions as well. Cheers! -- Smug

Happens to my apps too, and too huge to be season-related. Check territories in Connect app for your apps. For my apps, massive downloads from China. Did the Electronic Chinese Wall prevent our apps from being downloaded from the Chinese App Store, with some State Police opening now the tap? Just wondering...

Man that's nuts! Same here. Back to regular downloads. Yesterday was crazy numbers. Not sure what China is going to do with 5000 downloads of an app for a Golf Course in the Catskill Mountains of New York. Dave
