Yosemite update - Bluetooth problem

Finally got Yosemite to update on my Macbook Pro on Thursday. Teething problems with iPhoto sorted out but I have a Bluetooth problem. I use a Bose speaker for playing back movies and TV programs but I have tried the 3 main ways to get it to reconnect without any success. My Bluetooth folder says I am connected and the speaker seems to think it is on but not so. I have a sneaking suspicion that it has something to do with Maverick forwarding the info to Yosemite but not sure.

I suspect that the problem you hinted at is probably right. If you were to unpair, delete the settings and start from scratch, you might get it to work. Alan

Hey Alan Thank you for that. Worked perfectly. I added turning off the Mac for 5 mins first to make sure. No one else suggested, anywhere, unpairing and then adding again. Cheers Richard
