Yosemite update - Bluetooth problem

Teething problems with iPhoto sorted out but I have a Bluetooth problem. I use a Bose speaker for playing back movies and TV programs but I have tried the 3 main ways to get it to reconnect without any success. My Bluetooth folder says I am connected and the speaker seems to think it is on but not so. I have a sneaking suspicion that it has something to do with Maverick forwarding the info to Yosemite but not sure. Title Comments Finally got Yosemite to update on my Macbook Pro on Thursday.
