SP Youtube android video size problem solved

My friend Sandeep figure out the solution (Thanks lot Bro.) BT youtube plugin problem which displayed the videos half in size. This issue mainly happened on the android 4.4 and above devices. All you have to do is to remove the old jar file and add this one then build configure the path. After that clean project and run your app.Best regards!

Does that mean the plugin was updated on BuzzTouch.com by Suvinay?

Nice find guys, there have been a few posts here about this.
So it's not the BT code/plugin, it's the jar that needed to be updated.

Having helped him with that plugin....
I know that the .jar file was not packaged with it and sooner or later it would need to be updated.

I don't see a mention of that new jar file on the project home page-
http://gc.codehum.com/p/android-youtube-player/

But I do see it posted in the issues section here-
http://gc.codehum.com/p/android-youtube-player/issues/detail?id=28

below that they also mention this:

Fixed full screen issue. Check attached 1.4 jar file.
Remember to add:

<activity android:name="com.keyes.youtube.OpenYouTubePlayerActivity"
android:configChanges="orientation"></activity>

So you might need to look at your manifest file and verify that entry.

@buzzbt did you add that or is it working without it?

For the BT plugin - He just needs to update the readme with a proper link to that jar.

Or use the link above from @buzzbt

Or use that link from the project page.

I'm curious if there is a openyoutubeactivity.1.2.jar or a openyoutubeactivity.1.3.jar somewhere out there?

Thanks again for this fix!

There’s 3 Android dev groups in the city I work with on a regular basis and attend/help with meetings. We have a great space at @1871 to work with and hold meetings/events. Most of these events draw @ 200+, it's great for networking and meeting others.

Java/OBJC are more similar than you think and the OS isn’t going away anytime soon.

Don’t be afraid of it, embrace it and learn it :)

It's not the code… It's the layout.

Just my opinion…

Cheers!

Agreed, the layout stuff is brutal.

But I experience the SAME level of frustration trying to use Auto Layouts and Constraints in iOS.

BOTH platforms need better layout tools to deal with the increasing number of device sizes - not just bigger but for SMALLER devices. (think: 'wearable' Android)
