Push notifications Live mode never works

I would like to know if there is something wrong with Push notifications: am I doing something wrong or am I just wasting time in experimenting to find solution. I tried many variations: self-hosting, I checked all ports, etc., then I tried on BT server. On both design mode push works fine, in Live mode never. I tried it also with Android: design mode works, Live mode never.

There's currently an issue with Live mode...basically, it doesn't work. If you have an app in Live mode, and you make a change in the Control Panel, it'll automatically push the changes out without you having to hit the Publish button. David Book is aware and working a solution. Does Push work for an app in Live mode if you push it out for Design mode apps? Mark

No, it does not, always when I want to send to devices on Live mode, answer is: There are no iOS devices registered....... I think it is very important PN to work well, but looks we'll have to wait this to work?

On this forum I found discussions that say Parse doesn't work well and crashes apps.

https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=24B222FDACC36FD7079DE4B They probably didn't know how to implement it correctly. Check the link above where I posted on how to make it work.it has never crashed when I've used it

Looks confusing: more than 50 answers, which one is the right one? This is only for Android, what about iOS? Any manuals or documentation? I would really like to solve somehow PNs, so I am sorry to bother you.
