Is there an update for android been needing help for months

Hi Snowman7040! An Android update is in the works and will contain several fixes (including many of those from community posts on the forums). The current plan is to roll out a beta similar to what was done for Buzztouch 4.0.4 for iOS to give the community an opportunity to test the builds before they go live for all users of the site. There isn't a timeline on the release of the Android Core as of yet. Internally, there is a build that compiles... but full plugin support and bug fixes are still being worked on. Are there any bugs / specific issues you're running in to right now that you would like to see in this release? Hi Cakebit This is great news looking forward to an update. With the later Android api levels permissions became a huge issue which caused the existing BT system to not work so well. I especially had issues with the pdf plugin where I couldn't open and view pdf files so had to get Chris Coffee to create a fix for me, but if this could be fixed in the native BT system I'm sure it would help other users who may encounter the same problem I had.

Is there a master sheet of the android fixes? I'd like to add some coding changes I've made - mostly around the calls to the config file.

The last time I worked with Android was back at API 16 with Eclipse- there are so many new things to learn with Android Studio, BT4.0, Kotlin... oh my! Sherry, Is it possible to get a copy of a project with the updated PDF plugin? I'm trying to include as many community fixes in this update as possible. Chris' fix has already been incredibly helpful for the Android Login Plugin (http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=04CA7FFAE8ADCC5D9CF2ABE&currentPage=1) Sarah, I don't have a master sheet of the changes yet... I could make a Google Doc or something if that would be helpful..? (Traditionally, a changelog file is included in the updated core patch files.) If you have a sample project too, that would be awesome. I'd love to compare what patches you've made to the core. Thanks everyone!

I'll throw something together at my end, I did have a doc but it's in hiding. I found a few discrepancies in how the external calls had the merge fields added.
