I do not like this to install in my phone . Look at the list of permission which the app needs This app has access to these permissions: Your location precise location (GPS and network-based) approximate location (network-based) Network communication full network access view network connections view Wi-Fi connections receive data from Internet Phone calls read phone status and identity Storage modify or delete the contents of your USB storage Camera take pictures and videos Your social information read your contacts modify your contacts read call log write call log Your accounts find accounts on the device System tools test access to protected storage Affects battery prevent device from sleeping control vibration

hmm i left the default permisions that came with the package for sure the permision for network,wifi, receive date from network, have to be but all the others i think not.. camera, social informations, reading contacts, read call log etc

yes , please remove all unnecessary permissions . That will be good move

@Calsor .. very nice Android app! Good luck with it! @oneCode If he decides to add another plugin it is possible that it will break the app because the permissions don't exist. Of course, if the developer can remember to add those permissions no problem. But for the most its best to keep those unless they get many complaints in the app store. The permissions used by the plugins here are harmless and don't gather sensitive information to abuse..

@oneCode does have a valid concern though. I know plenty of people...perhaps they're paranoid or just super cautious...who won't install an app that appears to request permissions that it doesn't need. But it is a double-sided sword, because if you remove some of the permissions that are unnecessary now, they might become useful later if you add a plugin as @mysps notes! It's something that needs to be thought about for sure, and there is no easy answer. Mark

As this is a free version of my app for low-end devices/ older devices will not be any further upgrade in plugins and functions ;) For sure in my full app will let lot of the permisions and will describe to the info text in market what are ther for...
