I'm self hosted and have just added the BT push service for Android. I followed the tutorial step by step on BT, compiled and installed my app again on an actual device for testing, now the app will only open to the push messaging acceptance prompt, as soon as I say yes it crashes. If I answer no to the push permission the app loads just fine, it only loads when I say yes. Any thoughts? I'm self hosted through BTM. Are you using BT 2 or core 3 apps? Since my upgrade I can't get BT core 3 android apps to register (which I knew was an issue) but I also can't get version 2 apps to register anymore. Would love to hear how others are going ... This seems to be an ongoing problem, hopefully fixed soon, I can always integrate Parse but I'm attempting to avoid the extra step. :) Comments I was just setup on self-hosting so it should be 2.1.9. So I just implemented parse in two new projects. iOS still works on BT but the android ... well .... we'll have to wait and see. I recently upgraded to 3.0 and am still on BT server. I didn't realize prior to reading this that were issues with the upgrade and with the PN. Since this last post, has there been any changes or an ETA of repairing it if still a problem. I see people turning to Parse, is this a long term substitute from BT PN or just interim of when BT is working again? Need to look into this Parse.
