Ok I did a clean install on my second try because I had version 6 and was getting a bunch of errors Now everything is fine including the plugins. Hopefully we will hear from the BT folks Alejandra

The green circle has nothing to do with app management / building. It was just a graphic showing how many screens the app had setup. It was also a link to the screen / actions page for that app. The link on the left does the same thing.

I'm going to do another install and see if it gets fixed

Very strange indeed... In the screenshot in the OP, I've never had a link where the arrow points to (not in the last 3 versions anyway, I've just checked). I've only had that round green clickable graphic that's now disappeared.

That is weird. The link in the the left side nav come from the database. There are three 'linkTypes' Account panel (user account) Admin panel App panel Admin > Control Panel Links screen shows you these. And, you can add more to any section if you write custom code. Have a look at the list of links in the admin panel, you should have 6 Account links, 11 Admin links and 8 app links. the Screens and Actions link is the one we're look for. If you dont' have this then something during the install process didn't work. Have look at db.php in the install folder. It shows all the links that are inserted the first time the app is installed. The update process will NOT reinsert these and assumes they still exist from the original install. Notice the contorl panel won't let you remove these standard links. You can use the control panel to remove a link you create. You may have to use phpMyAdmin and actually look at the bt_cp_links table to see what's missing?

no luck :-( I installed buzzserver 2.08 fresh, uploaded the plugins and when I create an app, there are no options to add screens, images or anything else.

@David - Got the screenshot, thanks - something during install definitely hasn't worked! 17 links in total - not 25. No links in ''Application Control Panel Links'' As I've got nothing in there worth keeping I'm going to clear the database, do a fresh install and see what happens.

@David - Ok, I cleared my database and did a fresh v2.0.8 install. It didn't fix the problem. So I overwrote the install with a 2.0.7 install and I have now got the green clickable circle icon back, but no link on the left hand side. Completely fresh 2.0.8 install, brand new unused database, even had to re-register api key. Problem not fixed, still the same as http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/683/unled4ec.png/ Completely fresh 2.0.7 install, same as above. Green clickable circle to access app screens, but no link on the lefthand side. Considering these are completely fresh installs with brand new databases, I would think that there is some issue/conflict with the 2.0.8 installer package?
