1.5 fails to sign error (important)

1.4 signed fine, all of the 1.5 did not sign and gave error code: CodeSign error: code signing is required for product type 'Application' in SDK 'iOS 4.2' I googled it, said I had to put my team provisioning profile under code signing (Which I did for the 1.4 apps with no issue), so something is up with the build, and I can't get them to work. Feel free to contact David, or post on his forums for help... All the answer on Google are the same, and I know the issue they are talking about with code signing it, but it just does not work. - Darren Think you could figure out the issue here David? (information on the apps: I only uploaded a icon and gave the apps a name as the instructions said for 1.5) Thanks! David.

You're making me giggle with 'All the answers on Google are the same, and I know the issue they are talking about' - um - OK. Fact is, you're machine doesn't know what provisioning profile to sign your app with. As much as you may understand it, it baffles EVERYONE, me, you, everyone struggles with this. a) Highlight the app's project name (top item in the left side list) b) Click Get Info d) Build Settings > Code Signing. Select the Prov. Profile you want to use. The one that you 'know works' c) Highlight your target (expand the targets folder) d) Click Get Info e) Build Settings > Code Signing. Select the same valid prov. profile you previously selected in d. You're doing this in two places, one for the Project and once for the Target. If this doesn't work, re-start Xcode and try again. If that does't work something screwy is going on.

Turns out I had to change Code Signing Identity so it was blank, and only have Any OS set to my profile. By default it had my profile set on both -_-

There are lots of things you can't post in this forum - double quotes is one thing. Use single quotes if you have too ;-)

Going off topic: is this a custom forum? or site even? I've been digging through your source code and I cant find reference to any CMS (even in your css haha). I figured that may be the reason the forum lacks a few features, although, I do love the simplicity of it. Also.. awesome! David.

Yup - hand crafted - no CMS stuff anywhere. We're old school around here. We have tossed around a few ways to improve the forum, Disqus or Get Satisfaction service is likely. We wanna focus on what we do best, let them focus on forum stuff.

Thought so lol. Awesome. I like the forum as is, quoting would be nice, but like I said I like the simplicity. David.
