Push Notification is working in my App

I now have push notification working with my BuzzTouch generated App. I used easyapns. The source I used is located at easyapns.com. It works well but I have to develop a web interface to push different messages to different Apps. I can not comment on the scaleability of this implementation. however, it is interesting to play with. I got urban air ship to kind of work but never solidly. Lots of library linking issues. Probably due to my error. Xtify.com presented similar problems as Urban Airship.

Push notifcations are awesome! We've been working on an implementation ourselves so you can do this kind of thing from the control panel. It's an abitious effort in a long list of stuff we're working on. Stoked to hear you have it working ;-)

Yes. The simplistic easyapns testing interface was used as a starting point. I will post the address to the code in a few days. I have a couple of bugs that need fixing.

EasyAPNS (http://www.easyapns.com/) is awesome! The Video Tutorial is most excellent too! You have to create separate APNS certificates for both Development and Production. I got hung up in this part. EasyAPNS documentation did not seem to cover this part. You have to upload these certificate files to your php enabled webserver. I found a website that shows you how to setup your certs via Keychain Access and some command line kung-fu in Terminal. http://bit.ly/4QURD Don't try to rush through any of this as I did my first time... Be sure to set some time aside in the bat-cave to make this work. Scroll down to the Certificates heading, that should get you going. Don't get lost in all the other instructions, just look for the Certificate area. Then refer back to EasyAPNS documentation for everything else. You need to already have your app ID registered in the Apple Dev Portal. For those of you that don't need this functionality right away, it would probably be worth waiting for Buzztouch's integrated APNS solution.

Hey Buzztouch... here's my vote to raise the priority of built in push -- that would be so so so so transformative. Keep up the good work!!!!
