Hello I was wondering if anybody new how to display images along with RSS feeds in a interface sort of like Pulse news if anybody has any source code or tips that would be so helpful. Thanks so much Buzztouch community

Not all rss feeds supply images. If you control the feed, make sure you have an image included in the feed. Usually it would be included in a <media:thumbnail> statement. Then place 'media:thumbnail' in the Image XML Element field under Advanced Story Properties. If you don't control the feed, you're not completely out of luck. What I've done for one client is to set up a WordPress blog that scrapes the feed and posts it to a category within their blog. Then I have a plugin that searches the story to see if there is a photo. If there is, it embeds it as the featured image. Then I've modified the rss feed to make sure to to include the featured image. It's a bit complicated, but it works. Good luck.

There are several steps I use, and they really work great. 1. I have a program that reads an rss file and then pulls the full content (not just the summary that most feeds put out). You can find that here: http://fivefilters.org/content-only/#download 2. The rss auto-poster I use is WP-o-Matic. It will grab an rss feed and post the items into a wordpress blog. 3. For the auto images, I use several plugins simultaneously: Auto Post Thumbnail; Auto Featured image; Insert RSS Thumbnails 4. Finally, I use a plugin to create default images for certain posts (like a column from a specific writer). That one is FPW Category Thumbnails Jeff
