Adding Notes to App???

Hi All, Has anyone ever added a notes feature to their app where a person can add something and save? If so, How can i go about doing so.Please let me know. Thanks Anthony

This is a tough one for novices. I can think of a few ways to do this as a seasoned developer but none are easy. I'll try to monitor this thread to see if anyone has some useful suggestions. The first thing that comes to mind is (using v1.5)... a) A menu list that loads it's items from a backend URL. The backend URL would include a deviceId variable to allow you to identify what device the notes belong to. b) The backend script at the URL pulls saved notes from your backend database c) Each menu item in the list is a note entry, maybe a date and a second line with the first part of the notes entry d) Tapping an entry loads the complete notes. This means the dynamic menu list will load a dynamic screen when the item is tapped Again, not easy stuff but doable. I can also think of a few ways to create some non-remote code to save notes directly in the phone but that an even more complex idea. Not sure how to advise.
