Instead, I messed around with the current design to show off features that would be really cool to have integrated into a new design. I would love to see some of these new features or "options" in the real re-designed market design. Let me know what you think.. Looks Good, I just want to make a link to Smugs post re Outbreak http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=00CC1E5607580930E1ABEB3&currentPage=1 and draw on some of the suggestions there to reference my suggestions here! 1. Add another two Tabs : 'Wishlist' and 'In Progress' 2. In the Wishlist Tab there could be a list of Requested plugins; just the headings with a link to pop up shadow box that lists more info about the desired functions. Here members could hit a 'Like' button to simply register their interest. The tally of 'likes' would be only viewable to registered plugin developers so they can get an idea of what their next project might be! This is also where the big orange button could be to suggest an idea. 3. In the 'In Progress' Tab would obviously be a list of ideas that are currently being worked on. This would link to a popup box also that provides details/links to those developers who have 'indicated' they are working on the idea. That way if anyone has any ideas or can assist they know who to get in touch with. 4. When a developer 'indicates' they are working on an idea, that particular idea would obviously shift from the 'Wishlist' to the 'In Progress' list. Regards Paul :) Edit 1: 2. Each wishlist idea would be 'addable'(like the forum) so rather than creating a similar idea with slightly different characteristics, members could throw in (add) ideas regarding particular functioning of the plugin. 5. In the lists of plugins have a 'type' toggle as well, ie. All|iOS|Android The default view would be All, but those only developing with iOS could narrow their list down(and similarly for android) to only those available for the particular os. Edit 2! 6. Maybe make 'App of the Week' as the opening Tab, that way all Tabs could take up the whole width.

If the 'In Progress' tab was there, it would have to be only accessible to Plugin Developers. There's many reason behind this. 1) Only Plugin Devs will be making these 2) Plugin Devs can know not to produce a similar plugin (as what happened to me a few days ago) 3) All the Plugin Devs are on a list full of trustworthy people. You wouldn't want anybody peaking in. I think plugin devs want to be as secretive as Apple! Also, allowing people to view it would rather spoil the fun. I am always gutted when Apple's new product was the same as the leaked images.

@Thomas, Yes (95%)agree regarding the 'In Progress' tab. My intention for that is mainly just to let people know that something is 'in the pipeline' and who is working on it so they can throw some ideas at them. Actual access to any code of course would be up to the developer. Paul :)

Ok-New Idea: Plugin Market = Front End for Users developer.buzztouch.com = Back End for Developers with the access to the plugin admin tools, plugin creator, documentation, and plugin reservation list. This would be easer for the site users to navigate. What do you think? Jake
