iOS missing files in download?

it seems there may be some missing files in the iOS package download? I didn't have this problem 2 weeks ago when I worked on my app, and uploaded it to Apple and had it approved without any problems, but now I've updated Xcode to 4.3.2, builds fail. Apparently, there is a file missing that's referenced in the MGTwitterLibXMLParser.h file (libxml/xmlreader.h) and I also now get two other red flagged errors: "Apple Mach-O linker Error" and error: unable to open executable '/Users/myusername/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/myapp-guquxhoohgpuhydsmxccuxsmumbd/Build/Products/Debug-iphoneos/myapp/myapp' I redownloaded the package and the file isn't included. This is exactly the same project as I successfully uploaded. The only difference is the newer version of Xcode (which I had to upgrade to so it would - supposedly - allow me to test my app on my iOS 5.1 iPhone4)

Hi basement, Are you talking bt1.5 or BT_Server? Seems like you used twitter and the twitter core files are not added to the project. Put the directory TwitterOAuth in the BT_Core. Maybe you have this directory in your old app and otherwise create a bt1.5, bt1.4 app, download the source and search for this directory. Best Regards, Danny

sorry, 1.5. I used Twitter on the app as part of the "share via twitter' screen I don't have the missing file anywhere on my computer. I redownloaded the app source, and the missing file isn't there. The twitter folder s in BT_Objects/TwitterOAuth. There's also an FBConnect folder in BT_Objects and the only thing I use FB for in the app is on the "share via Facebook" screen. Thing is, this worked perfectly until the necessary Xcode update. Now, it's screwed. I can't build it to check it on my iPhone still (I couldn't before I updated Xcode because Xcode couldn't link to iOS5.1 devices, and after the update, it should be able to, but comes up with all these other errors!)

Hi basement, If you create a 'simple' new app on bt1.5. Do you get the same results or is it just the 'old' app? Did you do a clean? Best Regards, Danny

Yes, I did a clean. Same results. Yep, same error: Xcode says: #include <libxml/xmlreader.h> but there is no libxml folder and no xmlreader.h file anywhere on my mac.

thanks so much for your help! is the 'missing' file a constant? i.e. would it be the same if I got it elsewhere? Could someone here send it to me and it would work? The stack overflow page doesn't seem to have solved the problem, and it's not exactly the same problem I have – still xml connected, just a different file missing.

Hi basement, I'm running out of answers and possibilities. You could try to add a post to this topic and hoping that Claudio will respond to that: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=061D05A7B1AFDBE43C9236B&status=&searchInput=search...&sortColumn=FT.id&sortUpDown=DESC&currentPage=5&doViews=1 Best Regards, Danny

no response as yet from the thread you suggested, and I need to test my app and get it to Apple ASAP as my client wants to start promoting it. Any other thoughts?

Hi basement, Only thing I can think of is to delete/uninstall xcode and reinstall again. Maybe that will solve your problems. Best Regards, Danny
