Problem downloading source code Android

Hi Gang, I am on self-hosted. After hitting prepare package for Android in order to download Android source code it shows the following message: Something Went Wrong. The packaging API had trouble downloading this app's icon from the control panel. What is it? I uploaded the jpg, png ... Tried to download iOS - it prepared iOS package and downloaded iOS. Not Android. Thanks for your help. Frogman

Have you done any mods to your self-hosted setup? Did you try a different icon image just to see?

Hi Chris, no mods. Today I refreshed the plugins and downloaded 2 new plugins for free. I uploaded an image to images, tried another image, tried .png, tried .jpg, tried to download first iOS package (where it can be prepared and downloaded). There must be a bug in the Android part. Now it will not let you proceed without an icon, I tried it too. Unfortunately no luck. I cannot proceed. BTW when I hit Download plugins, it says that about 6 plugins were not downloaded in new version, for example "BTA Design Menu 1.1 not installed", while in the list of my plugins I have it in green and in the correct version. PLEASE CAN YOU GUYS CHECK THE ANDROID PART THAT HAS BEEN APPARENTLY CHANGED? Cheers! Frogman

You definitely need to have an icon image set. It sounds like you've just been uploading images to your media section. Go to the "app icon" section of your control panel and make sure there's an image shown. You can always change it later in Eclipse if you need to.

Chris, I went through that about 10 times. Uploaded icon to App Icon section, changed it, changed another kind of file... Then I also uploaded the icon to the Media/Files. Restarted my server a few times, logged in and out, restarted my mac, tried everything. No luck. Frogman

There must be something wrong with the way Buzztouch.com is accessing your image file. Go to "Application Home" and verify that your app icon shows up there. If so, view the page source and do a search for: "iconImage". You should see something like the following: <div id="iconImage" class="iconImage" style="background:url('http://yourdomain.org/BT-server/files/applications/EA660D749438ADA2619E5CAFD/images/060CD39CCD5790A9495FF3A_icon.png');background-position:50% 50%;background-repeat:no-repeat;"> That background:url() is what seems to be causing the problem for some reason.

Hi, I copied it, probably the sign &nbsp; is causing problems there, question is, how can I repair it: <div class="iphoneBg"> <div class="screenBg"> <img id="screenImg" name="screenImg" class="screenImg" onload="imgLoaded();" src="http://70.30.1.20:90/BT-server/images/blank.gif" alt="sample screen"/> </div> <div class='iconOuter' style='position:relative;left:165px;top:-110px;'> <div id="iconImage" class="iconImage"> <img id="image_preview" src="http://70.30.1.20:90/BT-server/files/applications/EA0DC1886710AA8EC44D77E5F/images/9D5525875C6F36301463C8D_icon.jpg" alt="app icon" class="rounded" /> </div> <div id="iconOverlay_icon" class="iconOverlay_icon" style="display:block;visibility:visible;" > &nbsp; </div> </div> </div> </td> </tr> </table> </div> </fieldset>

I don't see a background:url() in this code: <div id="iconImage" class="iconImage"> <img id="image_preview" src="http://70.30.1.20:90/BT-server/files/applications/EA0DC1886710AA8EC44D77E5F/images/9D5525875C6F36301463C8D_icon.jpg" alt="app icon" class="rounded" />

Chris, do you think there is a part of necessary code missing? Comparing BT source code with my self-hosted I see there are some differences, which I guess are due to new version of plugins (I downloaded and refreshed my plugins). How can I fix it? Frogman

Hard to tell. May need to reinstall self-hosted.

I also have this problem. Background image is shown in the code and the URL to the image works. iOS can be prepared and downloaded, but Android still brings up this error Errors occurred processing your request... 1) The packaging API had trouble downloading this app's icon from the control panel.

You may want to contact PSMDanny. He's a pro with self-hosted software.
