Hey guys, I have been able to put the leadbolt html banner in my html docs on my app. But, i would like to know how to put the normal adds in that sit at the top of the screen (not html) people have tried to explain it to me but i am confused, can someone please post a step by step tutorial into this, or a link to one that is fairly simple? Regards, Jawdoss

Sounds like google admob but maybe adsense is what he is looking for. Jawdoss, set up a Google Adsense account and they have the code to put in your app for at least the Adwords type of ads.

hmmmm?.... he clearly says Leadbolt guys! There are a few posts on the forum for integrating leadbolt, I did a video but the d*mn thing got deleted. You should check out their documentation @jawdoss, it's accurate and extensive, plus your affiliate manager should be very helpful.

I think I must have gotten lost in the translation :) He did say he was able to put the Leadbolt ads in his app via html so I kinda thought he moved on to another type of ad system... sorry :)

@OWC- Leadbolt supports html scripts for ads. @jawdoss- Try this from the cheat sheet attached with the following link also find the pdf file on how to integrate leadbolt. If you have integrated admob or some other ad service on bt, this would not be so difficult for you. Cheat sheet link: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/61663890/cheatsheet-LB-Locker.txt Pdf link: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/61663890/Leadbolt_android_app_guide_v300.pdf

sorry i haven't been online for a while, been really really busy. I have looked at the cheat sheet (https://dl.dropbox.com/u/61663890/cheatsheet-LB-Locker.txt). Its a good cheat sheet but the problem is, i don't know what part to put where. I would experiment, but last time i did that i lost my app by stuffing it up. I really need a step by step layout as it give me more guidance and i am less likely to make a major mistake that way. Kind regards, Jawdoss

Hey, that's mine haha! The cheatsheet was supposed to be used along with the video, but the d*mn video got removed from the hosting for some reason and I didn't back up. I'll attempt to decipher it... <supports-screens android:smallScreens="true" android:normalScreens="true" android:largeScreens="true" android:anyDensity="false" /> goes in the manifest.xml file, near the top, just under the line: <uses-sdk android:minSdkVersion="8" /> This line: <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_LOCATION_EXTRA_COMMANDS"/> goes in the same section as all the rest of the permissions in the manifest file. ---------------------------------------- this: public class Config { public static final String LB_LOCKER_ID = "your_leadbolt_locker_id"; } goes in a notepad file that you name Config.java (NOT Config.java.txt!!) At the top of the config file goes your package name. (com.whatever) This file goes in the src folder along with all the other java files. (note the capital C in the file name). Put your LB id in place of: 'your_leadbolt_locker_id' -------------------------------------------------- Add this import: import com.Leadbolt.AdController; to all the other imports in the BT_screen_customHTML.java file. ---------------------------------- In the same file, Add: private AdController lbController; just below the public class. -------------------------------- In the same file, in the 'onCreate' section, add: // create a new leadbolt content locker layout LinearLayout layout = new LinearLayout(this); // make the layout visible final Activity act = this; // add the leadbolt content locker to the app and make it open asynchronously layout.post(new Runnable() { public void run() { lbController = new AdController(act,Config.LB_LOCKER_ID); lbController.setAsynchTask(true); lbController.loadAd(); } }); ----------------------------------- In the same file, in onDestroy, way down the page, add: // leadbolt lbController.destroyAd(); -------------------------------- That's it!

Ok, I am stuck on this part: this: public class Config { public static final String LB_LOCKER_ID = "your_leadbolt_locker_id"; } goes in a notepad file that you name Config.java (NOT Config.java.txt!!) At the top of the config file goes your package name.

If you made the cheat sheet then wouldn't you know where this goes?
