I should also add that every time I try Generating the code It Also accounts me for an API Request, Which is kinda unfair to be Reducing my API counts from the 100 available but with no source code generated to be downloaded :( Please anybody out there that can help me ping point this issue will be highly appreciated. Gary

Hi Gary, Welcome to buzztouch! Have you already received your API key and installed it in your self-hosted server? Mark

Hi Mark Yes I have Its installed and In theory was acepted,. I should mention the IP of the server is an Private IP 10.0.1.X mapped from an external Publicly accesible IP Using sNAT (as show in the example below ) I assume this should not affect it as the API should be talking to the FQDN and not IP to make the Calls.. correct? Anyways the API calls are being made as Its dedcuting my API calls on BuzzTouch Account Server Nickname Example Server IP Address 10.0.1.150 Domain Name ExampleDomain.com Control Panel URL http://www.ExampleDomain.com/appsmkr API Key 2EAEXXXXXXXXXXXXFF72 API URL http://www.buzztouch.com/api

Hi Gary, We can approach this a few different ways.... a) Send us an email to info 'at' buzztouch.com with your contact info, I'll call you and we can discuss some debugging ideas. A converstation is usually best IF you understand PHP and some basic website / server stuff. It sounds like you do. b) Create a temporary login on your self hosted control panel for us. Use the same email address and send us the password. Next, create a temporary FTP account so we can get access to your uploaded files and see what's up. It sounds to me like you're on the right track questioning the IP address. Basically, the two machines (your website and our backend) need to communicate and they do this with cURL. cURL can get picky sometimes when working with private IP's and such. We'll get through it, can't be that tough ;-)

@GaryContreras: All set....easy fix. See notes in email. For others paying attention: The issue was related to cURL and the way it was connecting to the self hosted package for the configuration data. /BT-server/bt_v15/bt_app/bt_appDownload_AJAX.php contains a method called fnGetConfigData() then grabs the config data from the self hosted server. It uses this config data during the application packaging process. cURL had trouble "connecting to host." Changing the host to "localhost" (temporarily in this method) fixed the issue. In other words, http://www.youdomain.com/BT-server....... turned into http://localhost/BT-server This is usually caused when the apache configuration file setup on a webserver doesn't understand a relationship between an IP address and a domain name.

Hi Guys, I am trying to set up a self hosted for a client and I am seeing the same error. I have started a new thread but I though I'd ask here as well. How did you fix it, I don't understand you solution David, where do we change the host to "localhost"? Sorry to bug you on two threads, bit on a tight deadline on that one... http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?fid=A6391C5539299C27061AFE8&tid=A6391C5539299C27061AFE8 Thanks and million. Farcat
