Password Reset Not Working

My Login and password for my self-hosted control panel would not work, so I figured it was confused as to what my password was, so I reset it. Problem is, it is not emailing the password reset to me. I have searched forums and did find advice that possibly i was using the wrong email address...not the case. Any help?

Hi Frno, This may be a dumb question, but when you set up you BT Server, did you correctly configure the email portion of the server? And test it to make sure it works? Because if you didn't verify it, then there is no way for the password to get sent. Also...have you checked your spam folder? Mark

The panel worked for weeks, so I know it was set up correctly. Not in Spam, although I had not checked, so good call. Ideas? BTW, several of your PDF articles were VERY helpful on Android process.

The panel would still work (with respect to logging in and doing your app dev work), but if you didn't set up the mail server part of it correctly, then there would be no way to have your password sent. That's a portion of the BT Server setup that's easy to miss. Hmmmm....that gives me an idea for a new doc! ;-) Glad that you found my docs helpful! Don't hesitate to send along any constructive feedback you might have. Keep on the lookout for another one in the next few days! Mark
