Mach-O error on Desktop but not on Dropbox copied laptop!

Copied app files to Dropbox from my iMac and on my macbook having Xcode use the Dropbox to run the app. All works well from the laptop. But on the iMac I'm now getting a fatal Mach-O error: ld: symbol dyld_stub_binding_helper not found, normally in crt1.o/dylib1.o/bundle1.o for architecture i386 clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation) How in the world can I be getting any error on the desktop version, when I copied all the files to Dropbox and the laptop gets no error!
