Scratch Feature plugin

Sorry but not able to who the background image. I have uploaded to both assets files in BT and also the Xcode project but still blank....scratch works fine on first image file as supplied by developer, but stuck on above issue as all I get when scratching is blank screen underneath...have got simple photo image names with no spaces etc...any thoughts please BT community? Thanks David from Kent in the UK

how are you referencing the background image- URL or Filename? Remember if you are using filename, it means that it is being included in your app, and needs to be added to your xcode project (you can drag the local copy into your Xcode BT_images folder)

Fixed it - I was uploading a jpeg file; changed to png and it works. One problem though the top layer which hides the image underneath slides from the right so you can see the hidden image underneath briefly - so no surprises....is this right? Defeats the object... Thanks David

That is definitely an issue on the simulator. Will also be a problem on phone depending on the size of image and if it is loaded from URL. It has been suggested that a delay should be added. However I have not tried yet, and I think it would be better to have a loading display upfront until fully loaded like some other plugins - that way it would not matter how large or the location of the background image.

FYI - JPG files do work.
