No content showing in Xcode Simulator

Hi all, First off - I've read some previous posts about this but they did not fix my problem. I'm very new to all this, and I'm pretty sure there is something very simple that I'm missing. I tried adding a location plug-in to one of my menu items, but when I run this in the simulator I get a blank white screen when I click on the menu item. I tried creating a simple plain text page too, and the same thing happens. I initially downloaded the source code for the project, the BT_plugins contained one file (Bt_screen_menuSimple). Since then I've added some plug-ins through the buzztouch interface, but they have not been updated in my Xcode repository. I tried to 'publish' my updates but they still did not appear in the directory. Do I need to re-download the source code each time I add a new plug-in to my application? I am confused because I can add menu items through buzztouch, and after pressing refresh on the simulator I can see them - so they are clearly communicating. Any help or advice is very much appreciated, Thank you :-)

Hey there! You've got it - if you've added new plugins in your Buzztouch control panel that wasn't included in the original download of the source code, you will need to re-download the source code and drag the new plugins in the appropriate plugins folder and into Xcode. The updated menu items work just fine on the simulator since that plugin (Bt_screen_menuSimple) was in the initial download of the source code. Hope that helps! :) Nicholas

I noticed that there were quite a few new files, so I just replaced the whole folder with the new download so as to not miss any new files. Worked perfectly. Thanks so much for the quick response :-)

Hi @FrancisHall, Welcome to Buzztouch! In addition to the great advice from Nicholas, you also need to make sure that ALL the files you download are part of your Xcode project. By default, when you open the project, it only imports some of them. You'll need to manually import the rest. Mark
