Newbie - Dalvik and Dex code error messages

I'm having endless grief with Eclipse and the first test apps I've put together in BT and downloaded. Apart from the fact that sometimes it will let me run an app in my AVD and sometimes it'll say I've got errors, the main error message I get in my console is: [2013-11-20 22:17:01 - Dex Loader] Unable to execute dex: Multiple dex files define Lcom/google/android/gms/common/data/Freezable; [2013-11-20 22:17:01 - tasso1] Conversion to Dalvik format failed: Unable to execute dex: Multiple dex files define Lcom/google/android/gms/common/data/Freezable; I've read in the forum about removing any additional libraries from the java build path but i don't appear to have anything other than the Android4.2.2 library in there. I'm 99.9% sure I've done something wrong with setting-up eclipse and associated SDK stuff but if anyone's got any ideas (such as delete it all and start again) I'd be really grateful.
