Programming Mobile Applications for Android Handheld Systems

https://www.coursera.org/course/android Free 8 week course with certificate if you pass, class is offered by University of Maryland, starts today the 21st. And the best part (FREE) may not be for everyone but you can sign up and audit the course. edit one more thing as of class start theres 140,000 people signed up to take it.

How are you guys holding up with this? It's a really good course, for sure learning some new stuff. Thanks again for posting it. I hope a few other BT folks are taking advantage of this. Great Android foundation. I'm not finding enough time to keep up with all the lectures and quizzes on their schedule. I just started Week 4 and they just started Week 6! I'm downloading the vids and source code and will probably watch this stuff on my own time/pace. I wasn't planning to get a 'grade' or cert, just audit. The sample projects they posted are excellent, I have borrowed a few snippets from them to build some screens with. The Week 6 Animation stuff they just posted looks exciting!
