Why no choice to use BT Core for Android 3.0

I have an old app I was thinking of recompiling for v3.0. In previous apps I've done this for when I go to the screen to download source code, I get two choices, to prepare package for download or to use the BT core for Android v3.0. But for this particular app, I don't get that double choice, just the prepare package for download, no v3.0 choice. Why not? Steve

Hi Steve, Is this self-hosted or buzztouch.com? Do you know what version of the app (v1.4, v2, v3) you're working with is? Mark

My guess is that v1.4 apps aren't easily upgradeable to v3, and so that's why the option isn't available. The code structure for the first versions of Buzztouch apps is entirely different than it was for v2 and now v3. I think what you'll have to do is recreate the app entirely and use the new code for it. Mark

OK, though I was able to make changes to the old version and got it up and running with latest Android update so for moment I'm ok. Sooner or later though I guess I'll have to re-create. Thanks. Steve

Mark is correct, there was no way to convert v1.5 apps to v2.0 apps. But since the control panel for both v2.0 apps and v3.0 apps is really the same, you do have the 2 options in your v2.0/v3.0 apps. -Chris
