Problem with Tests-info.plist in xcode 5

When i want to buil for testing i failed and had the following error message in xcode 5: "could not read data from '/../../MYAPP_iOS/MYAPPTests/MYAPPTests-Info.plist': The file “MYAPPTests-Info.plist” couldn’t be opened because there is no such file." I checked the project and i find that under packaging in the build setting i have for info-plist file this file associated MYAPPTests/MYAPPTests-Info.plist. So where can I find this directoryMYAPPTest, and how to fix this problem. Othmane

Let us know when and how you fix it. I have not yet tried making test builds.

I'm experiencing the same issue. It isn't getting in the way of running the app on the iOS simulator, it just gives me the error text (but it is a red one). EDIT: I get this in 'run' mode, not just 'test' mode, but the error is the same and always refers to 'myappnameTests'as though it's a separate instance of my app. Has anyone found anything since @othmane's original post? (I hope there's no statute of limitations on how old a thread can be before it's crime to re-open it!) Cheers Paddy

In the Targets column, I select the Tests target and delete it. Will that help your problem? Perhaps! :-)

Wow. Niraj, sometimes brilliance lies in simplicity, and you have nailed it. Maybe I'll take that approach to errors more often - if you don't like it, just delete the file that it's in, lol! Though it did work beautifully this time around, thanks!! Cheers Paddy

Thanks. This just fixed my problem with a new app dev in xcode 6 too!

Interestingly, this primarily seems to be a problem with those on a land mass surrounded by a body of water!

Under what settings you find the code that can be either deleted or changed?
