Still updating though in Live Mode

OK, I copied and pasted the live mode config file from BT control panel to my config file in Eclipse. Then I exported a new APK to Goggle Play with this live config. Went to BT and made a change to a screen, went to the app on my device, refreshed data and sure enough the change shows up on my device! What am I forgetting here?

If you hit "publish" it will go to your device. If you do not want changes to go out to the world, do not hit publish. Also, when you change the info in an html/text plugin, it automatically goes live even if you dont publish it Dave

I did not hit publish. And the only change I made was in a menu with image plugin.

I just confirmed this - happened to me to. In my case, I pasted in live config data, making sure currentMode was set to 'live', then deleted a menu item on one of my menu screens, then refreshed the app (without pressing publish). The menu item was gone.

If I delete from the BT core properties page the config data URL and the report to cloud URL will this stop the refreshing or do I have to go into Eclipse and delete entries from the config file and resubmit an APK. I really don't want the users to get 100 notices to update as I replace 100 screens.

I'm not sure about Android but for ios you can set it up to automatically update without a notice to the user. It just updates when there is a change and the user opens the app. I'll get on my computer and post the link to the how-to

Hey Niraj, It's in the how-to section. Here is the link. It works fine in 2.0. I'm not sure about 3.0. https://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/AutomaticRefresh.pdf Dave

I have a app in the Apple appstore, with set to "live" in xcode, and it's still getting updates, and i am not hitting Publish. Is this a known issue, or is there something I can do to fix? I need to add in some new Plugins/menu items in Design mode, and can not have this automatically publishing to the current downloads, until I send in new update to Apple. Any help out there???
