Snow Leopard set-up - No architecture to compile for armv7 error

Hi - I tried getting as much in the Subject line as I could to try and give an idea of the issue that I'm having - I'm pretty sure it's just getting Xcode set-up correctly on my Mac and downloading my app from Buzztouch in the correct format. I am running Xcode on Snow Leopard (10.6.8) and I have input this into my Buzztouch profile as well to try and get everything compatible. When I download my app and try to run it through Xcode I get the following error: No architecture to compile fo (ARCHS = VALID-ARCHS = armv7 armv7s). I've looked through the build settings and compared these to the couple of samples that come with Xcode and they match - the samples work fine but my app keeps coming up with the same error. The only thing that might (??) make a difference is that my app isn't in a folder with Xcode - I don't know if this is important... Any help with this would be fantastic and appreciated. Thanks, DT.

You should be using Xcode v5.0.x to compile your app, which should not run on Snow Leopard (requires at least Mt Lion). You could try downloading the older version of your app and plugins, and compile in Xcode 4, but Apple will not allow submissions with Xcode 4 starting Feb 1st i think. -Chris

Thanks chris - I forgot to say I'm currently just working in Snow Leopard to get used to working with Xcode after previously putting the app together for android - submitting to Apple is a loooonnnng way off down the line! ;-) I'll check the version of my app and plugins next.....

If you have a recently created app, you should have two options on the download screen. If you download the "old" or "previous" version, you should (currently) be able to compile that app in Xcode 4.x.x using Snow Leopard. Hope that helps.
