BT 3.0 Refresh & Landscape

Hey BT community! My latest app for iOS was my first released as a BT 3.0 app. I know that some bugs are being squashed at the moment, and for the most part, I was able to get through them without too much effort. However, there are 2 issues I can't seem to solve... Any insight? 1) On the iPad, when opening the app while in landscape orientation, the launch image opens up as portrait view. This is despite having all the necessary portrait and landscape images. 2) Right before the "splash screen" plugin does its work (I have it so that it curls and reveals the first menu of my app), the app "refreshes" for a brief moment, even though the app itself is an offline app and not an online one. It is after this refresh that the app finally flips into landscape view. It seems like minor modifications may be necessary... any suggestions? I'm more concerned about the landscape view, although it would be nice to rid myself of the "refresh" - makes it seem like the app "lags" when it's all booted up and ready to go! Thanks in advance, I highly, highly appreciate it!!! Nicholas

Hey Nicholas, I assume with issue 2, you mean the white loading screen before the splash screen starts? If yes, this is solved here: https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=E1F2DF6986BDA9BA84EDF41&sortColumn=FT.id&sortUpDown=DESC&currentPage=1

For issue 1, I am pretty sure I solved this one (excuse me but I have just woken up and it still early). In xcode at the General info tab, open Development info and select iPad, then tick all you want in the device orientation options.

Thanks for responding, you two! @AussieRyan - you're absolutely right. I was spoiled with BT 2.0 apps automatically having landscape checked off. That did the trick! @LeonG - I took a look at the post, and although it does provide a solution, I was hoping I could simply remove the screen entirely. That being said, it's no biggie. :) Thanks again!! Nicholas
