Changing image on live app

hi guys, is it possable on a live app, to change the background image from none to a url image, ive tried but its not working, im wondering if im doing something wrong cheers Sean

Anything is possible to change if your app is online. In case of offline apps, its possible only by submitting newer binary to the appstore. In your case you can add the background image referred from url, which seems you already did it. But i think you forgot to publish the changes. You need to hit the publish changes option in your control panel. Once you publish the changes you made in your cp, you will be able to see the changes you made in your app after refreshing it.

Its not working for me sandeep, its reverting to the same named image thats in the binary for some reason,ie planning.png, even though in the backround image plugin in here, theres nothing in the filename box, only a url below with the new image,though i have noticed that the binary i uploaded was in design mode. thanks sean

It should work fine am not sure why its not working in your app. This should work despite the app being released in the design mode.
