Solutions for my black screen problems

Just thought I'd pass along how I solved some problems withe the new BT core 3 for Android, specifically having some htm's come up totally black, not having the imbedded links to photos work or the css file take effect. The first thing was to get the plugin HTML Pro. Then, when you compile your app, there is an example included in the BT Docs file for HTML pro docs. I then used exactly the first lines of this example up to the body tag in each of my htm files. Now everything works. The only thing I find is that in the header of every screen of an htm file, in addition to the app icon and name, there are Anroid icons that seem to be for mailing, a back arrow, and a refreshing button (I'm not an Android officianoado) and some other things but pressing on any of them gets an error message. Not a big deal since the back button on the device works as it should but still I'd like to get rid of these header icons if anyone has any ideas. Thanks. Steve

When I used it, I did not follow the example, I just entered the source of my html file and I didn't change the header.

For me, that alone did not do it until I simplified my headers from the XHTML, that they were originally, into HTML 5. Whatever works for each example may be different. At least this worked for me. Do you get those header icons on your hml pages? Steve

Actually, now that I look at the page again, I do get those icons in Android - sorry @stevek, I must have been asleep when I looked at it before!

Do you have any idea what they're for and why they don't work?

Just to say for the record that the problem was resolved by update v 3.13 to the HTML Pro plugin by @chris1

How do I get the update? Is it just included in further config data downloads? Thanks.

You need to re-download the plugin. Cheers, Alan
