iOS and Tabbed menu issues

Hi All, I have a tabbed app in the making and realized the following with various plugins: 1- Button Menu ----------- It doesnt show that the buttons are there until you initiate a pull to refresh(sliding the screen down) and then the buttons appear. In android the buttons show without any effort. 2- Menu Image Advanced: -------------------- The Title text shows but the description text is cut of above and below. I guess the height of the rows are not auto increasing...fixed height but it adjusts well in android seamlessly. 3- Menu Image Advanced: ------------------- I create menu items and it shows a blank list. I think someone also mentioned some menu plugins not showing except you have both a title text and description. This works well in android but I cant find the items i created. 4- Context Menu: ------------ I know this is work in progress but a manual fix would be appreciated. Anyone can weigh in so that when these issues gets resolved we move to the SOLVED section. That has helped a great deal.

will your app fixed portrait or both landscape and portrait? is news and more the same orientation but the 1st screenshot missing the tabs when i first started bt i used the same plugins, my fix was to adjust the pixel dimensions manually and lock it for portrait only. You loose alot of menu row space if rotated to landscape, and a lot of swipe up scrolling. not sure about the swipe down to refresh, maybe its an ios6 vs ios7 change

Its both orientations. The first screen is the news tab. I was trying to make the file small and later just let it rip.

Button menu works ok for me on ios. Just a hunch, but I'm going to suggest that perhaps that your config.txt in your build isn't up to date and it was downloaded before you added the icons. My theory is the config.txt updates after your app refreshes and voila - icons!

Menu row heights don't auto-adjust in either os, but they can be 'twiddled' in the control panel. Could it be that the difference between Android and IOS you are seeing is the font size come up smaller in Android on the device you are using? Or large/small device settings?

@AlanMac, The app gets fed from a remote call so the buttons are not created from within the CP. What I suppose would be necessary is how to auto refresh the page since the pull to refresh does the same thing. For the menu Heights, I have tweaked the listHeightRow and its not reflecting for iOS.

Hi @Solver. On the icon problem, Can you confirm which plugin you are using, as looking at the graphic and you saying 'pull down to refresh' I am beginning to wonder if it isn't the RD rss plugin for IOS, not button menu? And, does this happen every time you start the app or just the first time after it is installed? Alan

I don't know how the buttons menu plugin supports 'pull to refresh', that is a new one on me. I think I'm not being much help...
